How can it be a sleep study, with no sleep?

 I just got home from my worst night of sleep in all of my 40+ years.   As most of who listen to my progam know I had a sleep study appointment last night (6/14/07).  I don’t know how they expect you to sleep if you have all of those wires attached to you head, chest, and legs.  I slept for 4 hours if I was lucky.

The bright spot to my whole evening was a book that I was  given by my wife. Now before I tell you the title of the book, I want you to have an open mind and put all preconceived thoughts behind you.  One more thing,  Alot of what I read most of you agree with because you listen to my program on Talkshoe.com, id. 1832 .  The book is entitled “The Assault On Reason” by Al Gore.  Before you make a judgement on the book without reading it,  go to Amazon for an excerpt of the  book or listen to my show tonight as I will talk about it on The NETIO Show on  Talkshoe.com.  The book re-enforces what I have concerning the NEWS Media and how it is molding the way people view the world, either right or wrong.  The book just gives you another perspective.  And as my wife says “Percepective: Use it or lose it!”

This week started out as normal as every other week.  Monday’s show was pretty my status quo for The NETIO Show (if you would like to listen to it click the gray arrow).

An hour after the show I was taking my wife to the hospital (everything is ok).  She was in the local hospital for 5 hours then transfered to a Pittsburgh Hospital.  This is when we found out that we are having a GIRL in September. 

On Wednesday’s show I was interrupted by my 2 (almost 3) year old, who was looking for his mother ( if you would like to listen to it click the gray arrow).

Then there was Friday nights program.  Instead of me telling you what happened, click on the gray arrow to hear for yourself.

It is Sunday night at 10:52 PM and I am listening to one of my favorite TV programs of the 1970′s, M*A*S*H.  As I am sitting here at my desk a few things cross my mind.

1. Why can’t they make TV programs like they did when I was a kid?
2. Why do people believe that quantity is better than quality?
3. *Why can’t some people take responsibility for their mistakes instead of blaming other people?

*This is refering to a previous Fayette County (PA) Commisioner that lost in this this past Tuesday primary.  He blamed everone except himself when talking about his loss.
